About Mini Goldendoodles

An F1 Mini Goldendoodle is a cross breed between a Golden Retriever mom and a Miniature Poodle dad. An F1b Mini Goldendoodle is a cross between a standard doodle mom and a mini poodle dad…. and an F1b toy golden doodle is a cross between a mini doodle mom and a mini poodle dad..
The Mini Goldendoodle, like many other Poodle cross breeds is bred to produce a very low shedding dog for individuals who want a dog, but who suffer from allergies to shedding hair or have other problems with excessive shedding. The Mini Goldendoodle works well for many allergy sufferers. For severe allergies, families will sometimes need to go with an F1b doodle as they’re 3/4 poodle so they have an even lesser chance of shedding..

Temperament

A Mini Goldendoodle is a loving, loyal dog and has a keen sense of smell. They are easily trained, highly social, and by nature are easy with strangers and other dogs. They love to play, and retain the strong retrieving instincts of the Golden Retriever. Most all of our puppies go to families that have kids and many to homes with other pets 🙂 Many have been trained to be service and therapy dogs, working with special needs kids and in schools and hospitals and nursing homes 🙂

Breed Status

The Mini Goldendoodle is not a purebreed; rather, it is a specific type of mixed-breed dog or “crossbreed”. It is not accepted for registration by registries such as the American Kennel Club or United Kennel Club.
