An F1 Mini Goldendoodle  is a cross breed between a Golden Retriever mom and a Miniature Poodle dad. An F1b Mini Goldendoodle is a cross between a standard doodle mom and a mini poodle dad…. and an F1b toy golden doodle is a cross between a mini doodle mom and a mini poodle dad..

The Mini Goldendoodle, like many other Poodle cross breeds is bred to produce a very low shedding dog for individuals who want a dog, but who suffer from allergies to shedding hair or have other problems with excessive shedding. While the Mini Golden doodle is typically a low-shedding dog, it does shed some. The Mini Goldendoodle works well for many allergy sufferers. For severe allergies, families will sometimes need to go with an F1b doodle as they’re 3/4 poodle so they have an even lesser chance of shedding..

Our mini goldendoodles (both our F1 and F1b minis) average beteen 25-35 pounds full grown. Usually girls will stay on the smaller side and boys on the bigger side… Our toy doodles average 15-25 pounds full grown…

Goldendoodles can come in many different colors, depending on the parent’s genes passed onto the pup. There can be white mini goldendoodles, tan mini goldendoodles, golden mini goldendoodles, black mini goldendoodles, silver mini goldendoodles, red mini goldendoodles, brown mini goldendoodles or even a party or mix mini goldendoodle. A variety of colors can come from the same litter. Most of our puppies range from cream to apricot to red and all shades in between 🙂 We do sometimes have black F1b mini doodles …

The Goldendoodle mini is a loving, loyal dog and has a keen sense of smell. They can be taught to enjoy swimming, as both the Golden Retrievers and Poodles  normally enjoy water. Mini Goldendoodles are intelligent, friendly, and great with kids.  They are easily trained, highly social, and by nature are easy with strangers and other dogs. They love to play, and retain the strong retrieving instincts of the Golden Retriever. Most all of our puppies go to families that have kids and many to homes with other pets 🙂 Many have been trained to be service and therapy dogs, working with special needs kids and in schools and hospitals and nursing homes 🙂
